Professor Wang in China carried out one of the clinical trial studies on ninety-six patients who all had different degrees of severity of cataracts; from mild to moderate cataracts, right the way through to fully developed mature senile cataracts. This test was carried out over the period of six months with the trial subjects applying just one or two drops a day into each eye being treated. The results were outstanding and showed a one hundred percent success rate on patients with mild to moderate cataracts and an eighty percent success rate on the patients with more mature senile cataracts.
The twenty percent of people with mature cataracts who didn't see results during the trial would have also seen similar results if they had continued with the treatment for longer as more mature cataracts take longer to dissolve. Another similar clinical trial showed an improvement of 41.5% to 100% in the patients tested, again over the period of six months, and with sus tained improvements noted two years later on. Since those early day trials, it is now recommended to apply the drops hourly throughout the day; 8, 9 10 times a day being ideal and, by doing so, the recommended course of cataracts treatment has now been effectively reduced down to just six weeks.
